for women only, by Shauti Feldhahn, is a very enlightening book to help women know about the “inner lives of men”. I read this book many years ago. When I picked it up to write about it this week, I remembered that I had read information in the book that I never really knew, but I couldn’t really remember enough about it to write about it. I realized that I had to re-read this book and I am so thankful that I did.

This is probably one of those books that you may understand a little differently each time you read it because of what you have experienced and learned since the last time you read it. If you have read this book in the past, you may want to pick it up and read it again.

I read relationship books to learn how to be a better wife. Men and women are so different in more ways than many of us sometimes realize. Their struggles are so different from ours in many areas, although some are the same.

In For Women Only, Shaunti Feldhahn interviewed and/or surveyed over 1,000 men and was really shocked by the answers she was given and that the majority of the men gave the same answers even though they were from different age groups, different races, church-goers and non-church-goers… In her shock, she would run the results by her husband to see if he agreed with these men. Of course, he did and he was quite surprised that she didn’t already know many of these things.

For Women Only is similar to The Five Love Languages, by Gary Chapman, and Love & Respect, by Dr. Eggerichs. Each of these books will help you to understand your spouse better and will help you to love them the way they need to be loved.
